This plaster shell wall bracket is derived from architectural corbels . Brackets are integral to interiors done in the Georgian Traditional style, French or European Eclectic or English Country. Brackets with greater surface depth are employed for vases, urns and figurines. Brackets can be grouped in quantity for collections on a large wall or over a mantle or hung in pairs flanking a bedroom mirror. The brackets can be matched or mixed in design. Other installations feature a pair of brackets on either side of a painting in a long or entrance hall. Three or five brackets can be displayed vertically on each side of a large mirror for dramatic effect.
