A most famous sculpture, the bust of Apollo, as seen in the Vatican Museum, the original was sculpted by Lechares, an Athenian sculptor of the 4th century B.C. He was also recognized and known as the god of the sun or of light, the god of archery and the god of agriculture and animals.
